About Blue Rock Farm

Friends and Supporters of Blue Rock Farm, signs collage

We want to thank you so much for making the past 4 years amazing! After a lot of thought, endless hours of talking & farming together, and some of our classic wine & french fry nights, we have decided to close Blue Rock Farm. We appreciate all the support and encouragement we’ve received from all of you.
Love,
Caitlin & EmmaKate
P.S. We want to leave you with recommendations of other great CSA’s:
Green Moon Farm & Sterling Farm

The Farm

Blue Rock Farm is an organic farm and CSA based for the last 4 years in Willow Street Pennsylvania. In addition to the CSA, Blue Rock Farm has a stand at the new East Side Market at Musser Park in Lancaster city. Blue Rock Farm also provides delicious produce to local restaurants in Lancaster and York counties.

What is a CSA you might ask? A CSA or Community Supported Agriculture is a new name for an old-fashioned idea: farmers and eaters should know each other! Here’s how it works: shareholders pay for their share of produce at the beginning of the year and receive a weekly bag of the fresh picked harvest for an entire season of 23 weeks:spring, summer and fall!

The Farmers

Bean Farmers

Blue Rock Farmers EmmaKate Martin and Caitlin Brady are committed to being good neighbors in the Lancaster community as well as careful stewards of the land.  We grow healthy, tasty, organic vegetables without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides.

  1. So happy to finally find a local organic farm! Can’t wait to meet you at Eastern Market! We operate Dharma Dogs Farm in Conewago township (outside of Elizabethtown) – we are an organic homestead growing much of our own, but love to meet likewise farmers in the area! Peace and good harvests!
